The bad news about osteoarthritis and Baby Boomers

Here is the bad news when it comes to osteoarthritis treatment. We have no effective remedies for this condition.
Which is a shame because it is the most common form of arthritis. It’s due to the breakdown of cartilage, the gristle that caps the ends of long bones. All of us, if we live long enough, will come down with this disease. The bad news is this… after conservative treatments like medications, physical therapy, and injections, the only other option is joint replacement surgery. This treatment approach has not changed in almost 50 years!
This is a huge problem because people in their 20’s and above are experiencing an epidemic of this painful disorder that affects their ability to function on a daily basis. It takes the joy out of life. It doesn’t have to be that way…
I have made it my crusade – my mission- to develop a treatment for osteoarthritis that will help regenerate damaged and diseased cartilage. I’ve studied the problem intensively and have discovered the most promising therapy is the use of stem cells. These are blank slate cells that everyone has and these cells can be persuaded to become any type of tissue in the body including cartilage.
